FAQ’s
What should I expect from the first session?
The first session is about getting to know each other and coming up with a direction for ongoing sessions. We aim to help you feel as comfortable as possible with us from the very first session and appreciate that it can take courage to come and talk to someone you haven’t met before.
In your first session we’ll complete some paperwork and we’ll explain a bit about session confidentiality. We’ll then want to find out what has brought you to see us and you’ll be able to tell us what you would like to change or be able to manage better. This will help us to understand exactly what you need from us.
